Work Sample Film Production
Wooden Surfboards by Proffer | New Zealand
IMAGE-FILM FOR NZ COMPANY LOCATED IN WELLINGTON
In 20014/15 I lived for a while in Wellington, New Zealand. There I produced an imagefilm for my good friends at Proffer. You can find more Information on their website www.proffer.nz and there you find their philosophy in full length.
PROFFER SUSTAINABLE SURFBOARDS
They believe, that surfing is an amazing way to connect with nature, yet the boards most people ride on are often made from petroleum and heavy materials in a way that produces a large amount of waste and doesn’t even yield a particularly durable product. Jack is proffer’s leading designers in the team to rethink how boards can be produced with a focus on sustainability, performance and they also should look damn sexy. The hollow-core wooden surfboards are currently tested by using little to no petroleum materials. They are more durable then polystyrene and ride better than most other products.
Wooden hollow-core surfboards are the future of surfing!
