DJ SET PRODUCED ON RELOOP TERMINAL MIX 8
Tonloch Mixtape
Recorded in Germany
After leaving Mexico I stayed a few weeks at my parents in Wolmirstedt. Close to my Dad’s garden is a small lake called “Tonloch” in Elbeu. This is a very small village close to Wolmirstedt. Anyhow, I substituted the Pacific Ocean with a small mud hole that got artificially created when the government used the clay from the earth. “Tonloch” actually means “clay hole” or “hole of clay”.
Of course, there are no waves to surf but the water is warm and clean. Almost every day I went to this Tonloch Lake in Elbeu to practice my paddle technique and my duck dive. I took this photo of my dad using my surfboard and used it as the cover motive for this electronic mixtape. Please enjoy this journey into sound.
